Located on the outskirts of Malborough, an attractive village in South Devon (AONB) is The Dairy, a delightful annexe, inviting two guests.
Featuring original features, a woodburning stove (starter pack provided with further logs available to purchase on site), and a terrace with a bench and table and chairs for alfresco dining whilst enjoying the far-reaching countryside views, The Dairy makes the ideal base for a romantic getaway, whilst also within proximity to the shoreline.
Travel down the narrow country lane to reach the private driveway, before ascending the steps up to The Dairy.
Be welcomed into the homely, open-plan living space, complete with plush seating, a TV, a rustling woodburning stove, and a small kitchen area, perfect for preparing a light meal.

The living areas in this single-storey annexe consist of an open-plan kitchen, dining area and sitting area with electric oven and hob, fridge, dishwasher, TV, and woodburning stove. There's also a bedroom with a super king bed and a shower room. Outside there is a front terrace with bench, and a private driveway for one car, shared with the owner. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property. You'll find a shop and a pub in 0.7 miles, and the beach in 1.4 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. The Dairy is a charming base for a romantic escape to Devon. Note: There are steps to the exterior of the property, unsuitable for those with limited mobility. Note: The annexe is located on the owner's small holding, with livestock. Note: The property is accessed via a bumpy, countryside lane. Note: This is an adult-only property.

We had a most enjoyable, relaxing stay. Jane and Mike were there to meet us and made sure we had everything we needed. Great area lots to see and do, lovely walks and beautiful scenery. Many cafes and pub/restaurants recommended in the information book, all good and serving delicious food.

The Dairy was clean and warm, with a well equipped kitchen and a very comfortable bed, a good place to come back to after exploring the beautiful Devon countryside. Jane and her husband made us feel very welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Dairy.
