Lovers of old stone, come and discover this charming, fully renovated house located near the port of Lanildut.
As you enter the house, you arrive in the entrance hall which leads to the various rooms on the ground floor. This entrance sets the tone for the house: a blend of modernity and old-world charm. You then enter the large living room, with its old stonework around the stove, wooden beams, cosy lounge and dining area. A pretty kitchen full of charm is also open to this living room, where you'll find everything you need to cook whatever the season. From the kitchen, you can again access the entrance hall, which also has a separate WC and a utility room with a sink and washing machine/dryer.
The sleeping area is on the upper floors, accessed by a lovely suspended staircase (not suitable for young children). On the 1st floor, you will find a pretty bedroom with a large wardrobe and a queen-size bed (160x200). The adjoining bathroom has a large shower and washbasin. The 2nd bedroom on this floor is a master suite: a queen-size bed (160x200) plus a shower and washbasin make up this comfortable room. There is also a second WC on this floor.
The top floor is more suitable for children or teenagers. Here you'll find a sloping bedroom with 2 twin 80x200 single beds, ideal for making 2 separate beds or a large double bed. Please note that access to this floor is via a miller's ladder, so this room is not recommended for young children.
The little extras you won't find elsewhere? Bed and bathroom linen provided (sheets, covers, pillowcases, towels, tea towels), a welcome basket of 100% local produce, a digital welcome booklet explaining how the house works and giving advice on things to do and places to visit!
Less than 30 minutes away, you can discover the most popular tourist spots in the Pays d'Iroise: visit the islands of Ouessant or Molène from the pretty, lively and picturesque port of Le Conquet (you can also leave from Lanildut), discover the 3 Abers and their magnificent landscapes, go for a walk on the wild coast or in the Sainte Marguerite dunes, visit the Pointe Saint Matthieu, the Château de Kergroadès, or the Musée de la Marine in Brest. For art lovers: La Passerelle in Brest, La Fondation Leclerc in Landerneau, the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Brest....
Children will also find nearby: La récré des 3 curés (amusement park), Océanopolis (one of the largest aquariums in Europe).
For the more sporty, there are magnificent kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddle and surfing spots nearby. For golfers, there are several nearby, including the Abers golf course.
