Tucked away amongst mature trees in the picturesque Pitlochry, Perthshire, is this luxury detached holiday home, Mullingar.
Located close to the Pitlochry Festival theatre, it is just a short walk across the 110 year old iron suspension foot-bridge into the centre of Pitlochry.
Enjoying a superb location along the River Tummel, on the outskirts of the Tay Forest Park, Mullingar is a fantastic choice for groups, couples and families.
Upon arrival, you will find two off-road parking spaces, and a lovely front garden with patio, seating and an external study (with heating and Wi-Fi that can be booked by separate arrangement), ideal for those wanting to catch up on work whilst away.
Be welcomed into the well-equipped kitchen/diner, featuring underfloor heating, where you can whip up delicious meals ready to savour at the dining table for six over bottles of wine.
Just off the kitchen, you will find a handy utility space for your convenience., complete with clothes washer and drier.
After dinner, make your way through to the sitting room, where you can relax on the plush seating in front of a much-loved film on the large TV.
Continue through to find a beautifully presented queen-size bedroom and a twin bedroom, both served by a sleek en-suite shower room, along with an additional queen-size with access to a well-appointed Jack-and-Jill shower room.
In the morning, savour your morning coffee before venturing for a woodland walk, where you can spot the resident red squirrels and birds!

The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen/diner with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dining seating for six, and a sitting room with 55" Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of two queens, one with en-suite shower room, the other with access to a Jack-and-Jill shower room, and a twin with en-suite shower room. Cot and highchair available but please provide your own bedding for the cot. Outside, there is a shared non-enclosed front garden with furniture, patio and charcoal barbecue, along with an external office. Within 1 mile, you will find a shop, and within 0.2 miles, a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Sorry, no pets. Whisk your loved ones away to Mullingar for a memorable escape. Note: The garden is not enclosed. Beautiful cottage in an Ideal & tranquil location plus a short walk to town. Very well presented & equipped house. Certainly in my top 3 of cottages I’ve rented over the years. Good Wi-Fi, which isn’t always a given. Really enjoyed the week & booked again for a week next year.

Mullingar feels very comfortable and homely. There is everything you need for your stay. I love the location for both pitlochry and the A9. You have plenty of space and each bedroom has en suite all high spec. We saw deer in the garden a couple of times. The garden is a great relaxing space. All in all a top accomadation.

Really enjoyed our stay at Mullingar, the house had everything we could have wanted and more. Plenty space for kids, and a great outdoor space. Patricia was also very contactable and responded quickly and friendly. Would definitely stay again.
