Adjacent to the owners’, this delightful annexe lies within easy reach of Ely, Cambridge and Newmarket. The gateway to the North Norfolk Coast is just half an hour away, where you will find a string of pretty coastal towns offering a mix of beautiful beaches, marshes and picturesque quays. Hunstanton offers all the fun of the fair, while Wells-next-the-Sea offers a more relaxed atmosphere. The drive between the two will offer beautiful views along with boutiques to shop and places to eat.
Ely, with its magnificent cathedral and stained glass museum is a must, and for history buffs, the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the medieval city of Norwich with its splendid Norman castle makes for a great day out. Sandringham Estate is close by and the area offers many National Trust properties including Peckover House and Garden, and Holkham Hall. Welney Wetland Centre is the perfect place for birdwatchers, and there are many pretty routes for walkers and cyclists direct from the door. After a day of exploring, enjoy a waterside barbecue back at Riverside Cottage, or watch the world go by from the large picture window in the living room. Beach 24 miles. Shop ½ mile, pub 100 yards, restaurant 1½ miles.
