You have the opportunity to experience the peace and tranquility of our holiday home.
The house is very easily accessible and approximately 300m from the lake.
The lake has a water surface of 12.5 km² and is nestled between the Dammer and Stemweder Mountains.
On the east side of the Dümmer are the main holiday resorts of Hüde and Lembruch.
They impress with their maritime charm and have much to offer for the recreation-seeking guest.
Along the kilometer-long dike promenade, the tourist leisure offerings leave nothing to be desired.
On the west bank is the smaller Olga harbor, which belongs to Dümmerlohausen. Cycling tours along the lake, windsurfing, stand-up paddleboarding, mountain biking, or hiking in the forests – many reasons to holiday at Lake Dümmer.
The Stemweder and Dammer Mountains offer a variety of marked hiking trails to explore.
Lake Dümmer is the center of the nature park of the same name and is surrounded by extensive low moors and wet meadows.
At the Dümmer Museum, nature conservation, ornithology, and cultural landscape history are conveyed to visitors in a variety of ways.
Furthermore, the nature park is an international bird protection reserve.
Over 275 bird species are at home here. Every year, the so-called "Dümmerbrand" (Lake Dümmer Fire) takes place.
Here, one of the largest fireworks displays in Northern Germany is launched from 5 floating pontoons on the lake.
Colorful light chains, open-air live music on several stages, and illuminated boats at sunset – what more could you need to be enchanted by the ambiance? A program with numerous hands-on activities is also offered for the youngest visitors.
In the past, children's faces have been lit up by face painting, balloon artists, giant slides, treasure hunts, and much more.
Some flea market vendors also set up their stalls.
The event takes place on one of the last two weekends in August and alternates annually between Hüde and Lembruch on Lake Dümmer. The nearest train station is in Diepholz, only about a 12-minute drive away.

If you plan a major shopping trip, a car ride to Lemförde, 8 km away, is recommended.

Lage des Hauses in ruhiger Ferienhaussiedlung, super für Familien die Ruhe und ländliche Gegenden genießen wollen.

Das Haus war sauber, lag in ruhiger Gegend und man konnte toll spazieren gehen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis top!
Man sollte nochmal die Fotos aktualisieren, die Inneneinrichtung der Schlafräume und das Wohnzimmer anders aussahen, sogar besser als auf den Fotos. Das Bett war unserer Meinung nach leider zu hart.

Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und haben auf Nachfragen sofort reagiert. Kleines, aber zweckmäßiges Badezimmer. Gut ausgestattete Küche.
Für eine Familie mit zwei Kindern und Hund ist das Haus fast etwas klein. Es heizt sich an warmen Tagen leider ziemlich auf, sodass das Einschlafen abends zu einem Abenteuer werden kann. Der Garten ist für Reisende mit Hund super, leider ist er nicht vollständig eingezäunt, sodass völliger Freilauf nicht möglich ist.
