Residence :
Camping Village Mare Pineta, just a few kilometres from Trieste, faces the beautiful bay of Sistiana, in a panoramic position where the look is lost in the Gulf Sea of Trieste. The Camping Village is next to the famous Rilke trail, an suggestive walk that, at peak on the sea, leaves from the bay of Sistiana and continues along the coast to Duino Castle.
In the shade of the pine forest of Camping Village Mare Pineta, you can spend your holidays using the pitches of the Camping area or choose from one of the many mobile homes in the Village area. Inside the Camping Village you will find swimming pools with a sun lounger and parasol rental service.
The beach is in Sistiana, about 3 minutes from Camping Village. A practical and entertaining little train, available free of charge to the holidaymakers of Camping Village, travels daily to and from the beach. Near the pool area, you will find the bar, restaurant and pizzeria, where you can enjoy excellent Italian and international cuisine. A little further, directly on the Rilke trail, you can take an aperitif or eat a sandwich while admiring the panorama of the Gulf of Trieste.
Athletes will enjoy a tennis court, mini football, basketball and volleyball, and the gym, while a large new playground will brighten children's holidays. The animation team at Camping Village Mare Pineta organizes games, tournaments and shows during the summer season.

Speleological excursions
The Kras near Trieste has thousands of natural cavities and grottos. A must see is the Grotta Gigante (Giant Grotto), the biggest cavity in the world. A few kilometres from there, in Slovenia, there are the famous Grottos of Postumia and S. Canziano.

Relaxing walks through the Trieste Kras, a region of great naturalistic interest which offers breathtaking views to enjoy while walking down the romantic paths that lead to the sea.
