Villa Ohana on Madeira is a family paradise, as we have poured our hearts into furnishing our modern bungalow.
Villa Ohana is located at an altitude of approximately 230 meters in the center of the Estreito da Calheta valley.
This offers you a fantastic panoramic view.
To the southeast, the mountain range extends towards Calheta, offering a dreamlike sea of lights, especially at night.
To the southwest, you have a wonderful view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Due to the property's southern orientation, you will have sun on the terrace all day long.
However, there is also plenty of shade provided.
Villa Ohana is only 3 minutes from the highway, offering perfect connectivity.
On the terrace, however, you will only hear the rustling of lizards and the church bells at noon: it is truly absolutely quiet! We decided to equip Villa Ohana with high-quality amenities and for families.
Whether young or old – everyone feels at home in Villa Ohana.
We are particularly proud of our heated pool.
It features a specially designed shallow play area for children.
This also invites parents to relax comfortably in high temperatures.

Here, you will find a large gas grill, a cooking hob, a beverage refrigerator, and ample counter space. But you won't have to forgo any luxury indoors either.
Our Villa Ohana has air conditioning in all rooms, a ventilation system, underfloor heating, two televisions, two floor-to-ceiling rain showers (1x2 meters each), and all the amenities necessary for a dream holiday.
Our master bedroom has a small safe to protect your valuables and passports.
For the slightly older children, a PlayStation and a Nintendo Switch with various games are available, and the little guests will also find plenty of play options. Villa Ohana offers sleeping arrangements for up to 8 adults; 2 travel cots are available for smaller children.
The master bedroom has a king-size box spring bed (1.80m x 2.00m) and a pull-out sofa bed (1.60m x 2.00m). The other two bedrooms are also equipped with box spring double beds.
In one of the rooms, the double bed can be separated into two single beds (if the teenagers desire a bit more privacy). All bedrooms have direct access to the terrace and the pool and enjoy a breathtaking view directly from the bed. In each bedroom, you will also find a thoughtfully designed wardrobe (Kudos to Ikea) and a small desk. The two identical bathrooms offer you a rain shower with good water pressure, comfortable toilets, a sink, and sufficient storage space and electrical outlets.
In the guest toilet, you will find an additional toilet and sink. Everyone can gather in the large, open-plan kitchen-living area.
A huge window front makes the sea view the most beautiful and natural piece of art. In the kitchen, you will find everything you need for your holiday happiness.
We have stayed in countless holiday homes ourselves and know how important it is to have sharp knives and proper pots and pans.
For children, there is separate tableware, of course, all microwave and dishwasher safe.
The corresponding electrical appliances are also included (microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer compartment, stove + oven, toaster, kettle, blender). We are sure we have thought of everything.

Within walking distance, you can reach a small supermarket, 2 restaurants, a cocktail bar, and a playground. Thanks to the good connection to the highway, you can reach Calheta beach by car within seven minutes.
Here you will find one of the few sandy beaches and a culinary haven.
Good restaurants line the harbor promenade one after the other.
We highly recommend Manifattura di Gelato. The surfer towns of Jardim do Mar and Paul do Mar are also very quickly accessible.
You can get there in about 10 minutes if you want to surf or simply experience the relaxed vibe of the towns. Ribeira Brava is reachable in about 15 minutes, and Funchal in 35 minutes. We highly recommend renting a car if you want to explore Madeira.
