Stay in this superb gîte where comfort and quality are the key words! The cottage is located in a beautiful mansion, a former hotel dating from 1864, in the very heart of the medieval village of Murol! You admire the splendid view from the balcony, accessible from the living room, over the roofs of the village and the Murol castle perched on a rocky outcrop! This is the charming asset of this superb gîte! Perfect location to enjoy a real authentic village life with many craftsmen, shops and restaurants! In addition, the magnificent Massif du Sancy and its many activities in summer and winter are just waiting for you: the medieval city of Besse and St Anastaise, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing in Besse and Super Besse, the resort thermal spa of La Bourboule, the astonishing and fascinating Chaudefour Valley, Lake Chambon but also the Puy de Dôme and Clermont-Ferrand.
Many discoveries in prospect! Completely renovated in 2020, the cottage is a duplex on the ground floor of the house, which includes four other apartments.
On the lower level is a spacious fully equipped kitchen, a large living-dining room (2 additional people accepted in a comfortable sofa bed 25 € / pers / week) as well as a shower room-wc. You will also have access to the balcony and to a pretty terrace with private garden furniture and plancha.
Upstairs, a large bedroom (no door) with a comfortable 160 bed and starry sky. For your comfort, beds will be made on arrival, towels are provided, heating is included.

Nous avons été très bien accueillis. Le gîte présente tout le confort souhaité. Superbe vue sur le château ( illuminé la nuit )Les commerçants sont à 5 mn à pied. Toutefois, le quartier (comme l’ensemble de la ville de Murol ) nous a paru triste. Très bien situé pour les visites à faire en Auvergne.

Gîte de qualité, très calme, très propre, spacieux et confortable. Parfaitement équipé, il marie l’ancien et le moderne avec beaucoup de goût. Il est idéalement situé, à deux pas des commerces et des chemins de randonnée. La vue sur les toits et le château à partir de la petite terrasse est particulièrement belle et reposante.
