In a spectacular rural setting, this beautiful holiday cottage has shared use of an on-site wood-fired hot tub.. All on the Ground Floor:

Travel cot and highchair. Welcome pack. Front garden with garden furniture, BBQ and fire pit (shared with other properties on-site). Wood-fired hot tub for 8 (shared with other properties on-site). Bike store. Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 3 steps in the garden. This property has a natural water supply via a borehole. . These two superb holiday cottages can be found in an elevated position high on Cobden Edge, surrounded by the most breath-taking far reaching views of the Peak District, Manchester and Cheshire Plains. Lying at the end of a quiet lane on the friendly owner’s farm, the cottages are perfect for couples, friends and small families alike wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and explore the stunning countryside right on the doorstep.
Both properties are beautifully furnished and benefit from full underfloor heating which is further complimented by a wood burning stove just perfect for cosy winter evenings. Externally there’s a wood-fired hot tub in which to soak tired limbs after a day in the great outdoors, and a patio area to simply sit back and truly appreciate the surrounding landscape. Walking trails radiate from the area through surrounding fields, woods and wild moorland as well as being an ideal base from which to explore the fantastic Peak District National Park.
Locally, the village of Marple Bridge and small towns of Marple and New Mills are all around a 10-minute drive and offer a wide selection of shops, restaurants and recreational facilities. Marple and New Mills also offer a regular direct train service to Manchester city centre in 30 minutes. New Mills is home to the incredibly unique Torrs Riverside Park and Millennium Walkway, and Cycle trails such as the Middlewood Way and Sett Valley Trail can both be picked up nearby. Finally, popular tourist towns and villages such as Hayfield, Buxton, Edale and Castleton can be easily reached within a 15–30 minute drive. You really have the opportunity to do as much or as little as you like!
