Hello dear holiday seekers, those who love nature and seek tranquility will find themselves in the right place in one of our holiday homes here in Finsterbergen.
Finsterbergen is a state-recognized health resort with a healing climate and a district of the town of Friedrichroda.
Friedrichroda is a small town that belongs to the district of Gotha and lies on the northern slope of the Thuringian Forest. Holiday Home "Erinnerung" The "Erinnerung" holiday home, approximately 60 square meters in size, features a large eat-in kitchen with a tiled stove, a bathroom with a shower, 2 bedrooms, and a small covered balcony.
It also has a small covered terrace with a grill in front of the house.
Maximum occupancy: 5 people. Surroundings Due to its idyllic location, Finsterbergen offers an ideal starting point for hikes without disruptive car traffic.
Finsterbergen offers plenty of signposted hiking trails (90 km), as well as numerous winter hiking trails with groomed cross-country ski tracks.
The highlight in Finsterbergen is the beautiful outdoor swimming pool with its giant slide and its small sports facilities such as mini-golf, volleyball, and a large chess board.
However, numerous sights and cool leisure activities for the whole family are also located nearby.
Shops in the village include a butcher, a bakery, and a small village store; the nearest large supermarkets are in Friedrichroda (approx. 6 kilometers away).
A restaurant is located directly in the village, with many more restaurants in Friedrichroda. For our younger guests, there is a climbing tower with a climbing wall, swing, and slide directly on the property.
During the winter months, a small slope on the property is perfect for sledding.
A bocce ball court is planned and will also be available free of charge from spring 2023.
The wonderful outdoor swimming pool is only 150m from our houses. ATTENTION: this is a forest property, no winter service.
