If weather permits indulge in an alfresco affair upon the furniture in the expansive garden where you can then raise a toast to your getaway before taking advantage of the house’s amenities.
Later, when yawning begins, wash off the day in either of the ground-floor shower rooms or the shower room on the first-floor ready for a restful sleep in either of the five beautifully-appointed bedrooms.
Completing the ground floor is a king-size with en-suite shower room, a king-size and a twin with Smart TV, climb the stairs to find two further king-sizes both with Smart TVs and one with Juliet balcony and en-suite shower room.
If you can tear yourself away from this wonderful abode explore all that Chester has too offer; immerse yourself in the area’s past by strolling the Roman walls which encapsulate the city, pay a visit to the Roman Amphitheatre or admire the breath-taking architecture inside and outside the city’s cathedral.
Roam along the iconic Tudor rows to find an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants including Barlounge where you can savour exciting cocktails and delicious food, The Guild a cocktail bar set in an old church, Ristoante Sergio’s a popular Italian or Opera Bar and Grill.
Be sure to pay a visit at the world famous Chester Zoo, famed for its conservation work and array of exotic animals, Cheshire Oaks designer outlook or take advantage of the city’s excellent transport links and visit Liverpool or Manchester.

Lovely house. Fantastic pool. Well equipped. For a family of 6 adults and 4 children it would have been good to have a second twin bedded room. The floor in the downstairs area was very slippy when damp, the children using the downstairs twin room and shower slipped several times moving from the shower to the bedroom.

Solway is a beautiful, spacious house, with modern deco and lovely grounds at the back of the property. One of the major draws for us was the beautiful indoor pool which is just as fabulous as it looks in the photos! The birthday wine and chocolates left by Suzanne were much appreciated. We're already thinking about our next stay!
