It is difficult to choose among the multitude of activities offered by the Bay of Arcachon!
Ideally located, you can access the flat from the Bordeaux expressway, exit Pyla, and avoid Arcachon... 6mn by car and you are at home !
Take advantage of the beach 3mn walk, small convenience store, restaurant, line 1 from Arcachon station at the end of the street
You can also discover the spectacular district of the Ville d'Hiver in Arcachon with its superb houses from the beginning of the century, its park, its belvedere with a breathtaking view of the Bay!
The little train in front of the tourist office will give you plenty of ideas of things to discover and a nice general view of Arcachon!
At noon, let yourself be tempted by an oyster tasting in one of the oyster ports of the Basin, rather towards the port of La Teste, or Gujan, or at the market of Arcachon, then take advantage of the beaches and leave to conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla at 3mn by car, at the end of the day, superb sunset!
If you feel like taking to the sea, regular ferries from the Thiers pier in Arcachon to Cap Ferret, the Ile aux Oiseaux, the famous cabanes tchanquées!
A direct shuttle to Cap Ferret, Moulleau jetty, but be careful to check the tide and timetable...
The arguin bank, transparent water, paradise on earth!
Descent of the river leyre, at the ornithological park in Le Teich, choose to be accompanied by a guide, or alone with your kayak.
