Cocoonr is delighted to offer you ‘L’Orée’, in Pyla, set in a small residential complex just 300 metres from the lagoon and surrounded by greenery.
Here, whatever the time of year, you can enjoy an unforgettable weekend or holiday amidst the pine trees and squirrels! Just 5 minutes from the famous Hôtel la Corniche, in this gem of the wild and unspoilt Pyla, we are offering this 28m² ground-floor flat, which boasts an enclosed garden of around 100m² and a numbered parking space – which is a must-have during the summer months. The accommodation is laid out as follows: - A 22 m² living room with a floor-to-ceiling window opening onto the garden, a TV, a sofa bed, and a dining area with a Scandinavian-style table and chairs, - An open-plan fitted kitchen with an induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, Nespresso machine, kettle, toaster and storage space. - A bedroom with one double bed (140×190) with a window overlooking the garden and a fitted wardrobe. - A bathroom with a shower, vanity unit, washing machine and toilet, plus a large wardrobe in the hallway. The garden and its terrace will be the perfect spot to enjoy your days from breakfast to dinner, with a table and chairs, plus two sun loungers for a relaxing break when you return from the beach! A small convenience shop is 5 minutes away, as are restaurants; Le Moulleau is also 5 minutes away, known for its lakeside restaurants, ice cream parlours, waffles and crêpes – a treat for everyone after a swim! The highlights of L’Orée: Located in Pyla, right next to the beach, a cosy flat with a garden, surrounded by nature, and a parking space. Make yourself comfortable and enjoy your stay in the Arcachon Basin! Things to do: It’s hard to choose from the wide range of activities on offer in the Arcachon Basin! Ideally situated, you can reach the flat via the Bordeaux motorway, taking the Pyla exit, thus avoiding Arcachon… just a 6-minute drive and you’re home! Enjoy the beach, just a 3-minute walk away, a small local supermarket, a restaurant, and Line 1 from Arcachon station at the end of the street. You can also set off to explore the spectacular Ville d’Hiver district in Arcachon, with its superb early 20th-century houses, its park and its viewpoint offering breathtaking views of the Arcachon Bay! The little train opposite the tourist office will give you plenty of ideas for things to discover and a lovely overview of Arcachon! At lunchtime, treat yourself to some oysters at one of the oyster ports around the Bassin – perhaps at La Teste or Gujan – or at Arcachon market, then enjoy the beaches and set off to conquer the majestic Dune du Pyla, just a 3-minute drive away – at the end of the day, you’ll be treated to a superb sunset! If you fancy heading out to sea, there are regular ferries from the Quai Thiers in Arcachon to Cap Ferret, the Île aux Oiseaux and the famous stilted huts! There’s a direct shuttle to Cap Ferret from Moulleau Jetty, but be careful – do check the tide times and timetables… The Banc d’Arguin, with its crystal-clear waters – paradise on earth! Paddle down the River Leyre to the bird sanctuary at Le Teich; you can choose to be accompanied by a guide or go it alone in your kayak. Nearby: - Le Teich Bird Sanctuary, 20 km away - Arcachon Zoo, on the Route de Cazaux – a great day out for relaxation and a change of scenery – and Aqualand in Gujan. - Arcachon market - The traditional market in La Teste on Saturdays and Sundays: the covered market halls, as well as plenty of market gardeners outside, organic produce, cheese from the Pyrenees, confits, foie gras, shoes, clothes… - Dune du Pyla, 3 km away - Andernos-les-Bains, 40 km away - Bordeaux, 66 km away Transport: - Arcachon railway station, 6 km away, with trains every hour; the journey from Bordeaux takes 50 minutes. - Bus route 1 on Boulevard de la Plage, just 2 minutes from your accommodation, runs to Arcachon railway station, with interesting stops along the way, or towards the Dune du Pyla and the Atlantic beaches. - Bordeaux Airport, 65 km away (52 minutes by car) - The underground car park at the Town Hall, which takes you directly to the Arcachon market halls. La maison était agréable, toute équipée et propre.
