The majestic Palazzo della Ragione with its historic shops below divides Piazza delle Erbe from Piazza della Frutta where you can especially in the evening enjoy a break in front of the famous Paduan spritz sitting in one of the many tables set up in the square.

The historic nineteenth-century Caffè Pedrocchi, the ancient University called the Bo and the Town Hall are within walking distance as well as Piazza dei Signori, the Duomo, the Baptistery, the Old Ghetto and all other major sites of interest.
