The living areas in this single-storey lodge consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, and coffee machine, and a sitting room with TV and DVD player. The bedrooms consist of a double with en-suite, and a twin, along with a bathroom. Outside there is a rear decked area with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. You'll find a shop in 0.4 miles, a pub in 1.9 miles, and Fewston Reservoir in 1.7 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Swinsty Lodge is a wonderful base for exploring the North Yorkshire countryside. Note: The property is located on a working farm, at the end of the owner's drive, who owns both a kennels and cattery. Note: The owners offer tours on the farm, to meet the resident cows, sheep, and donkeys. Please note: Parking is only permitted in the designated parking area. We had a lovely week at Swinsty lodge . It’s very well situated on a working farm just off the A59 so you can get to lots of places in a very short time. The owners just leave you alone to enjoy your holiday but they are close by if needed. We hope to return again .

A very nice property and loverly stay. Observations as follows. Very hard to find as no signage. External lighting did not work making it difficult at night. Window handles were loose. Veluxe blinds not work. Still lived the stay and will definitely use again.

Had a great stay and was really peacefully. Even though its a little in middle nowhere there's lots of great places to go visit and only half hour drive away . Only thing got confused with is when the satnav says youve arrived at destination then you have but the only sign was for a cattery but once you turn onto the drive n through the farm then you see the sign for your lodge
