An hour and a half from Clermont-Ferrand, an hour and a half from Lyon, and less than an hour from Saint-Étienne, nestled in the Loire gorges, lies the village of Retournac.
In the hamlet of Giraudon, perched on the mountainside, you'll find "Le Repère de Léo" (Leo's Hideaway). This recently renovated family cottage is the perfect setting for a fabulous holiday, whether you're a couple or a family! Here, nature surrounds you and will undoubtedly dazzle you in every season! From the cottage: numerous hikes suitable for all levels, ideal for observing and discovering the surrounding nature. Nearby: explore the Loire Valley, enjoy supervised swimming beaches, a variety of water sports, the Corboeuf ravine with its unique landscapes, and numerous shops, all within a 10-minute drive. Nearby attractions include Le Puy-en-Velay and its remarkable UNESCO World Heritage sites, the village of Polignac, Yssingeaux and its renowned Thursday morning market, not to mention the Mézenc plateau, ideal for outdoor activities.
This detached house, situated on approximately 1,500 m² of land, boasts two terraces perfect for enjoying the outdoors: one facing east for sunny breakfasts, the other west for relaxing at the end of the day. The warm and inviting main living area features a wood-burning stove and comprises an open-plan kitchen, a living room, a lounge area, and a separate WC. Upstairs, a landing, furnished as a relaxation area with a library, leads to a first bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) and a second bedroom with a bunk bed offering two single beds (90 cm). This level also includes a shower room and a separate WC. All-inclusive rates include: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (however, the cottage must be tidy, the bins and dishwasher emptied, the bed linen gathered in one place, and the bathrooms left reasonably clean), heating, and electricity within reasonable consumption limits (16 kWh/day) – any significant excess will be charged to the owners on site. Rates are all-inclusive and include bed linen and towels, as well as end-of-stay cleaning, provided the accommodation is left tidy and clean.
Heating and electricity are included up to a limit of 16 kWh per day; any excess may be charged on site. Property managed by a professional.

Un très bel accueil et de bons conseils sur les visites à faire dans la région. Une belle petite maison très charmante, bien agencée et bien pratique au millieu de la verdure entre Le Puy en Velay et St Étienne. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.
