Near the Louet River, in the charming hamlet of Mantelon, this house with blue shutters will delight you with its peaceful, green setting.
This old house with terracotta tiles and exposed beams features a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area and a living room with a television and a working fireplace, promising cozy winter evenings.
On the ground floor, there is also a toilet and a washing machine.
Using the stairs, you will reach the bedroom with a 160x200cm double bed and direct access to the outside, then the bright mezzanine upstairs, which leads to the shower and bathroom with toilet.
The unique feature of this cottage: the shower opens directly onto the mezzanine, and the bathroom with sink and toilet is located just opposite (see photos).
The mezzanine can accommodate two additional guests, but it doesn't have blackout blinds to allow total darkness.
Outside, the fully enclosed garden (with low walls) is ideal for relaxing (umbrella, garden furniture, electric grill, deckchairs).
For your comfort, beds are made upon arrival and towels are provided.
Lighten your luggage and fully enjoy your stay in this cottage! Right next to the cottage, the GR3 hiking trail runs along the Loire River from its source to its estuary, offering a variety of landscapes: vineyards, floodplain meadows, forests, bargemen's villages, troglodyte dwellings...
Nature and heritage lovers will be delighted.
Béhuard Island is a 10-minute drive and 1 hour 15 minutes on foot.
The cottage is 15 minutes from the A87 motorway and 25 minutes from Angers and the Terra Botanica nature park.
You can park your vehicle right in front of the cottage, near the gate.
Five minutes from the cottage, take the Loire Wine Route and the Angevine Corniche to admire breathtaking views of the entire Loire Valley and the Louet River.
Don't forget to stop at a winery to taste some of the region's wines.
You can also stop at one of the restaurants in Chalonnes-sur-Loire or spend an evening at a local open-air café.
End-of-stay cleaning is not included in the rental price: an option charged at €80.

Anne est une hôte attentionnée et très accueillante à l’image de sa maison. Dés notre arrivée nous avons su que nous allions passer un séjour agréable et au calme. La maison est à 2 pas du Louet et les balades aux alentours ne manque pas. Maison parfaitement équipée et propre. Les compagnons à 4 pattes sont les bienvenus. Nous reviendrons volontiers dans cette belle maison de Mantelon

Notre hôte a été très accueillante et elle est d'une grande gentillesse. La maison est exquise en haute saison, l'intérieur reste frais et bien ventilé. c'est un lieu idéale pour bien se ressourcer et qui permet d'accéder assez rapidement à Angers à et à ses alentours. Nous recommandons ce gite pour les voyageurs.
