Just 1 hour and 45 minutes from Lyon and Clermont-Ferrand, in the heart of the Auvergne region, nestled in a verdant, wooded setting, lies the Gîte des Deux Sources.
Located on a large property, the gîte, adjoining the owners' house and separated by a barn, is very comfortable and well-equipped.
It is the starting point for numerous hiking trails.
Whether offering sweeping views of the beautiful Auvergne landscapes, winding through lovely forest paths, crossing small bridges, passing charming granite houses, or following streams, you can explore them by bicycle/mountain bike, on horseback, or simply on foot. The village of Craponne-sur-Arzon is 3 km away, providing quick access (on foot via the charming Bois de Noël forest path or by car) to all amenities (shops, restaurants, pharmacy, medical center, etc.). Chantal and Jean-Pierre will be delighted to welcome you and will do their utmost to ensure you have the most pleasant stay possible. On the other hand, the gîte also welcomes riders with their horses (€10/night/horse), to be arranged and paid for directly with the owner. Everything is designed for everyone's comfort, with large outdoor spaces including a ping-pong table, adult foosball, badminton, pétanque, a small climbing wall, a Kota (traditional Kota hut), and a Remundi barbecue. For cyclists, a garage provides sheltered storage for bicycles! Hen and stag parties are not permitted. Some great places to discover nearby: - The castle and village of Chalencon (St-André de Chalencon). - The ruins, village, and peat bog of Allègre. - The city center of Le Puy-en-Velay. - The Abbey and classical music festival of La Chaise-Dieu. - The fortress and village of Polignac. - Saint-Vidal Castle. - The Beaume Waterfall. - The Corboeuf Ravine, the Colorado of the Haute-Loire. - The Himalayan footbridge in the Lignon Gorges. - Kayaking down the magnificent Allier Gorges. - Mont Mézenc, the highest peak in the region... On the ground floor of the gîte, you will find a large living area equipped with a kitchen, a dining room, and a lounge area.
A games room and a bathroom with a separate toilet complete this level. The sleeping area is located on the first floor and consists of five generously sized bedrooms and a second bathroom with a toilet.
The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable and controlled consumption - if the cottage is heated by electricity you have 15 kWh per day (any excess will be payable on site to the hosts). The property was well equipped, kitchen and games in the barn.
There were a lot of flies but the area it s surrounded by farms and animals

Séjour parfait.
Dommage que le prix de la réservation de Airbnb soit 75 % plus cher que sur gîte de France.
Mais ça, les propriétaires n'y sont pour rien !
