Renovated, detached 18th-century country house situated on a 4-hectare property near the owners' residence and two other gîtes. Ground floor: kitchen, living room.
First floor with sloping ceilings: bedroom 1 (queen bed and single bed), bedroom 2 (double bed), shower room/WC. Wi-Fi. Private 550 m² garden, terrace (garden furniture, barbecue). Shared private area for the gîtes: lap pool (4x15m) open in July, August, and September, terraces, fruit trees.
Hiking trails, cycle path, and river fishing nearby.
Options: End-of-stay cleaning: €40/stay; Bed linen rental (1 or 2 people): €10/bed/stay; Towel rental: €8/person/stay. Additional charges: Tourist tax, flat rate for electric heating: €10/day (payable on site). Optional services to be paid on site and to be booked before your arrival: . Final Cleaning : 42.55 € per stay . Bed linen for a double bed : 10.64 € per stay . Single bed sheets : 10.64 € per stay . Napkins : 8.51 € per person per stay Property managed by a professional.

At the motorway roundabout, follow Marans, do not take the 1st right (Chaix/Auzay). Take the 2nd road on the right towards Chaix.
At the stop sign, go straight.
At the Y junction, keep left and drive 2.5 km to the hamlet of Brillac: this is the penultimate house on the left (n°95). Coming from the A83, exit n° 8 then as above.

A splendid rental house, impressive domain next to the river, silence, large swimming pool in a green environment, a rental in the green heart of the Vendée region close to 'le Marais de Poitevin' only about one hour drive to the coast but far away from 'the madding crowd'.
