In Berry, between La Châtre and Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, in the region of George Sand, the "Le Tilleul" gîte awaits you in a village just 5 minutes from shops.
From here, you can explore the places that have shaped the history of our region: George Sand's estate, the Basilica of Neuvy-Saint-Sépulchre, the Château de Sarzay, the fortress and viaduct of Cluis, the archaeological site of Argenton-sur-Creuse, and many other places that will be recommended upon your arrival.
Numerous local festivals offer opportunities to discover the surrounding villages.
You can also enjoy the water sports centers located 15 and 30 minutes away, or a charming little river just 5 minutes away.
On weekend evenings, delicious pizzas are available just 200 meters from the gîte.
The "Le Tilleul" gîte is situated on a 2,000 m² enclosed property.
Some guests can enjoy the shade of the linden tree while others play volleyball, pétanque, or go for walks or bike rides (5 adult bikes, 3 junior bikes, 2 children's bikes) on hiking trails (direct access).
On the ground floor, there is a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, toaster, filter coffee maker, Tassimo machine, raclette and crêpe sets, etc.), a living/dining room (flat-screen TV), the "blue" bedroom (1 double bed), a bathroom (hairdryer), a toilet, and a laundry room (washing machine, dryer, ironing board, iron).
Upstairs, you'll find the "Chocolate" room (one double bed and one single bed), the "Dormitory" room (four single beds), the "Mauve" room (one double bed, one single bed, and one crib), and a shower room (hairdryer)/WC.
Internet access is available.
Bed linen and towels are provided, and beds are made upon arrival.
Garden furniture, a griddle, various outdoor games, and baby equipment (crib, high chairs, baby bath, potty, changing mat) are also available.
Electric heating is charged according to consumption from September 15th to April 30th.
Private parking is available on the property.
Cats are not allowed.
Optional extras: End-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and trash): €65 For any changes during your stay: Single bed sheets: €10 each Double bed sheets: €12 each Towels: €7 per person Property managed by a professional.

L'aménagement fonctionnel de l'habitation, la propreté;
Plus de 4 vélos à disposition en bon état de marche ( c'est tellement rare ) ainsi que la correction et la gentillesse des propriétaires.

Nous avons été surpris que l'électricité (et pas seulement le chauffage) ne soit pas compris dans le prix.
Nous avons donc dû régler à la fin du séjour le ménage et l'électricité.
A part cela, la communication a été fluide avec le propriétaire et Poplidays.
Le gîte est très bien équipé et l'environnement est très agréable.
