The Mare-Etna-Taormina holiday home is located on the east coast of Sicily, in front of the beautiful beaches of Fondachello, a few kilometres from the volcano Etna, Taormina and Giardini Naxos, to offer you a dream holiday surrounded by the beauty of Sicily.

The residence "Antigua", ideal for families with children, is located in a strategic position to reach the slopes of the splendid volcano Etna and the main cities of eastern Sicily: Siracusa, Noto, Ragusa, Catania, Aci Trezza, Acireale (where the most beautiful carnival in Sicily takes place in February), Taormina, Gole del Fiume Alcantara, Messina and Giardini Naxos. The swimming pool is open from June to September, in August there is an entertainment programme and a children's playground in the residence, and in the surrounding area you will find numerous bars and pastry shops with typical Sicilian specialities. A supermarket, restaurants, a pharmacy and a post office are just a few minutes away.

The beaches of Fondachello and Giardini Naxos are beautiful, as is the magnificent Isola Bella in Taormina.

From here you can explore Mount Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, recently declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its uniqueness and natural importance, at any time of year. In summer you can spend a day on the waterslides of Etnaland or on the hiking trails of Monti Rossi and the Etna Adventure Park, and for trekking enthusiasts there are beautiful trails in the Etna Regional Park at any time of year. In winter, Etna is also a favourite destination for skiers, on the snowy slopes of Nicolosi. The house is very close to the "Monti Rossi", ancient volcanic cones which are now covered by a pine forest.
