A contemporary, ground-floor apartment for 3 people, in a family-friendly residence, in the heart of nature, this makes an ideal base for alpine adventures throughout the year.
The open-plan living area has glass doors leading out onto a balcony, overlooking the gardens and the mountains beyond.
The sitting room has a wooden sofa and a flat-screen TV. There is a wooden dining table, which seats 4 people, near the well-equipped open-plan kitchen.
The kitchen has an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and coffee machine. Additionally, in the building, guests can enjoy total relaxation with shared amenities that include an indoor swimming pool. Sleeping Bedroom: The bright master bedroom has a double bed and ample wardrobe space. Extra: There is a comfortable, single sofa bed in the living room, with good wardrobe space. Bathroom Bathroom: This spacious bathroom, with a wooden basin cabinet, has a full bath with a shower and a W.C. Additional • Wi-Fi only in common areas • Shared indoor swimming pool (heated) • Shared gardens • Gym • Hair dryer • Electric radiators • Ski storage & ski boot heater • Private garage parking – car recommended • Child friendly • Outdoor play area • Pets not possible • Free train passes to and from Chamonix Location The residence is in the centre of the village of Vallorcine, set in spectacular mountain scenery.
It is a short walk to the ski lifts and the ski slopes. The slopes around Vallorcine are suitable for skiers of all levels.
There are also 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike.
All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence. The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the residence, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks.
The famous Montreux jazz festival on the shores of Lake Geneva takes place in early July and is just 1 hour away. During the summer season, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing and horse riding.
The area is famous for its flora and fauna, particularly the butterflies in the flower-filled alpine meadows.
The village of Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets.
For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (10 minutes' drive). Geneva airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.
