This alpine-style duplex, in a family-friendly residence, makes an ideal base for exciting holidays throughout the year.
On the 5th floor (with lift), this apartment sleeps 5 people and has been thoughtfully equipped with everything guests might need for a comfortable stay.
On the lower floor of the duplex, there is a dining area with a table for 6 people, a flat-screen TV and an open-plan, fitted kitchen.
The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, Nespresso and coffee machines.
French windows in the dining room lead out onto a balcony, with a table and chairs and spectacular views out over the mountainside. An attractive wooden staircase in the dining area leads upstairs to a cosy living room with a sofa, leather armchair and flatscreen TV. Additionally, in the building, guests can enjoy total relaxation with shared amenities that include an indoor swimming pool. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, tucked under the eaves, has a double bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom 2: This corner bedroom is full of light thanks to 2 windows.
It has 2 single beds and a large wardrobe. Extra: The sofa in the sitting room converts into a comfortable single bed. Bathroom: A classic, tiled bathroom with a shower, basin and W.C. For a gentler alternative, there are 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike. During the summer months, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing, tennis, golf and horse riding.
For the more adventurous, there are paragliding centres close by. Children and adults will enjoy the trek through the forest to the Berard waterfall or the Grotte A Farinet cave. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence. The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the village, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks.
The famous Montreux Jazz Festival, on the shores of Lake Geneva, takes place in early July and is just 1 hour away.
Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets.
For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (a 10-minute drive). Geneva Airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away. Due to the unique topography, location, and weather conditions in the Mont Blanc Valley, internet connectivity may be unreliable.

Het appartement was heel proper en ruim genoeg voor ons alle 4.
Alles was op voorhand goed georganiseerd: alle informatie was duidelijk weergegeven.
De rust die we er vonden was subliem.
De bakker (en ook het winkeltje) beneden was heel welkom.
Misschien een klein minpunt: Er was geen snijplank te vinden, dus wel wat lastig om ter plekke te koken.
