Tucked away in the picturesque village of Ravenglass, the only coastal village within the Lake District National Park, is this semi-detached property, Ravenglass Haven.
Set over two floors, Ravenglass Haven welcomes families and two pets for a delightful break close to plenty of beautiful countryside.
Upon arrival, you are greeted by an off-road parking space, positioned directly outside the property so you can easily unload your belongings.
After a day of ambling the local area, the lounge will welcome your return with the woodburning stove and Smart TV equipped with Netflix and Amazon Prime, perfect for a movie night in.
Step through to the kitchen, hosting a range of appliances including an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and even a dishwasher, so washing up will be no trouble! Enjoy a quiet read in the conservatory, or step out to the rear garden and soak up the last of the evening sunshine.
The bedrooms at this Ravenglass cottage rest upstairs, including two doubles and a bunk, along with a gleaming bathroom where you can have choice of bath and shower over.
From your front door you can stroll down to the estuary and take advantage of the fantastic sunsets over the sand dunes or discover the remains of the Ravenglass roman Bath House, established in 130 AD, from which the Hadrian’s Wall cycle track starts.
Muncaster castle and gardens are easily accessible by car and the beautiful grounds and house are open to visitors, and also host year round events such as concerts and bird shows to entertain the whole family.

It’s a wonderful experience and there is a good cafe at the of the line as well as some fantastic walks; the perfect day trip!
