Bologna, known as the "Dotta" being the seat of the oldest University in the West, the "Grassa" for its excellent food and wine and the "Rossa" the colour that characterises the historic centre, is a wonderful city of art, culture and commerce. Its soul lies in its medieval historical centre, which is among the largest in Europe and full of taverns, shops and theatres, characterised by almost 40 km of arcades. In the historical centre is Piazza Maggiore, where the charm of the medieval buildings is perfectly combined with modernity. Not to be missed are Giambologna's Neptune Fountain and the Medieval Towers, the Asinelli and the Garisenda, part of a rich cultural heritage preserved in the numerous museums, galleries and religious buildings. It is impossible to leave Bologna without tasting its food and wine products, including mortadella, tortellini, ragù alla Bolognese accompanied by the well-known DOC wines of the Colli Bolognesi! Rich in exhibitions, fairs and cultural events, Bologna is a city that can surprise you all year round.
The central train station is less than 2 km away, while the airport can be reached by car in 20 minutes.

Cozy flat in a quiet area

Great location, close to the center and lots of good restaurants nearby. The flat is cosy, and had efficient air conditioning.
Only two towels provided, you would have to pay for more. The bed was very bad: you could feel the springs stick into your back, no cushioning whatsoever. We found lots of hair on the side of the shower cabinet, so seemed like it hadn’t been cleaned properly. I think also it was a bit too much to ha...

Our stay was wonderful! The location is very central and close to all the best parts of Bologna. The ceilings were a little low so the apartment can feel somewhat cramped but that is to be expected in an attic. Matilde was amazing to deal with, incredibly responsive and check in was very flexible and easy!

The place is good. The host was very friendly and kind. The place gets very warm in the summer though . It would be lovely in the winter. The kitchen has utensils, but the pans had a lot of scratches. Everything else was perfect. Nice stay all over!
