Look out for the tide times, as the reptile only reveals itself when the sea is low. Don't leave without tasting the famous "Galettes Saint Michel" and take a break on the "wall of licks" by savouring the ice creams from "La Fraiseraie" in Pornic at the foot of the "Château de Barbe Bleue".
