Elegant and modern flat with terrace and view of Mount Etna.
The flat is located on the third floor of a building in the historic centre of Catania. The entrance opens onto the living area embellished with a marble floor and furnished with a comfortable sofa and a TV; a French window makes the room very bright and gives access to the terrace that boasts a lounge area. The kitchenette is equipped with all amenities including an induction hob and microwave. Industrial-style stairs lead to the loft where the double bed is located. The layout is completed by a bathroom with designer furnishings and a shower.
Free wifi, air conditioning and heating will be available in the accommodation.
*There is another flat in the building. Please write to us for further information.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences to live in contact with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
The city of Catania boasts a splendid historical centre, protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Its architectural wonders, but also the liveliness of the popular markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna and the clear sea of the coast will captivate you.
The Cathedral of Sant'Agata (the city's patron saint), the Bellini Theatre, the popular markets, Via Etnea, the splendid Benedictine Monastery (home of the University's Department of Human Sciences) and Mount Etna are just some of the wonders of this city.
Of course, it is impossible to leave out the culinary delicacies of the Catania tradition, such as arancini (yes, here they are called masculine!), iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), olivette di Sant'Agata and brioche with granita. Try them all!
And for lovers of barbecued horsemeat, a symbol of Catania's gastronomic tradition, a must is Via del Plebiscito, a street in the historic centre flooded with the unmistakable scent of the embers always burning.
Another not-to-be-missed stop just outside Catania is the coast, and in particular the Gulf of Acitrezza, an enchanting place that with its Faraglioni stacks was chosen by Giovanni Verga as the setting for his most famous novel, 'I Malavoglia'.
Catania Fontanarossa airport is less than 15 minutes away by car.
