Elegant and modern flat with terrace and view of Etna.
The flat is located on the third floor of a building in the historical centre of Catania. The entrance opens onto the living area embellished with a porcelain stoneware floor and furnished with a comfortable double sofa bed, a TV and a dining table; a French window makes the room very bright and gives access to the terrace which boasts a lounge area. The kitchen has a modern décor and is equipped with all amenities including an induction hob, coffee machine and oven. Completing the layout is a bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom with shower, and a service bathroom with toilet and washbasin.
Free wifi, air conditioning, washing machine and heating will be available in the flat.
*There is another flat within the building. Please write to us for further information.
We also offer our guests authentic experiences of living with the locals. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to help you create your perfect holiday discovering the beauty of Italy.
The city of Catania can boast a splendid historical centre, protected by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Its architectural wonders, but also the liveliness of the popular markets, the wild beauty of Mount Etna and the clear sea of the coast will captivate you. The Cathedral of Sant'Agata (the city's patron saint), the Bellini Theatre, the popular markets, Via Etnea, the splendid Benedictine Monastery (home of the University's Department of Human Sciences) and Mount Etna are just some of the wonders of this city. Of course, it is impossible to overlook the culinary delights of the Catania tradition, such as arancini (yes, they are called masculine here!), iris (fried or baked stuffed bombs), olivette di Sant'Agata and brioche with granita. Try them all!
And for lovers of barbecued horsemeat, a symbol of Catania's gastronomic tradition, a must is Via del Plebiscito, a street in the historic centre awash with the unmistakable scent of the ever-burning embers. Another not-to-be-missed stop just outside Catania is the coast, and in particular the Gulf of Acitrezza, an enchanting place whose stacks were chosen by Giovanni Verga as the setting for his most famous novel, 'I Malavoglia'.
The Catania Fontanarossa airport is less than 15 minutes away by car.
