Orchard Lodge is set overlooking the beautiful orchard surrounded by ancient woodland, regular visitors are deer, pheasants, squirrels, and owls, Red-Kite and Buzzards fly overhead, together with the sounds of neighbouring sheep.
Your arrival at Orchard Lodge is via electronic gates onto plentiful level car parking area for up to 2 of your cars with easy access to the lodge via 2 steps.
No queuing for bathrooms because in Orchard Lodge each of the double bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, both also have ample wardrobe and shelving space.
The cosy lodge has sofa and 2 comfy armchairs overlooking the orchard, and a fully fitted and equipped kitchen. The inside dining table overlooking the orchard seats 4 people or use the outside decking where there is furniture to enjoy breakfast or a peaceful glass of wine as the sun goes down.
Only a 15 minute drive takes you to Knepp Wetlands and Re Wilding Estate where you can visit the White Stork project. Or visit the fabulous Sheffield Park Gardens where you can enjoy a ride on the Bluebell Railway. Hickstead equestrian events are held nearby a mere 7 minute drive away. Nymans and Leonards Lee Gardens are also close by. All gardens offer magnificent light shows and winter walks during winter months.
The Royal Oak pub is just a mile away, which serves food and drink, or take a short drive in the opposite direction to the centre of Bolney, to visit Bolney Stage or Eight Bells pubs for a delicious meal. Pizzas are served at the Cider Tap together with a choice of their 32 ciders. Wakehurst Place in Bolney is a Gothic Revival Mansion or the award winning Bolney Winery which offers guided tours and tastings.
If you want to keep active and enjoy long walks within beautiful scenery and wildlife, you are within a 15 minute drive to South Downs National Park and High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
The seaside resort of Brighton is a 12 mile drive away, where you can visit the amazing famous Royal Pavilion, as well as being spoiled for choice with bars, shops, pubs and restaurants and the Brighton Marina. Gatwick Airport is 17 miles away.

Lodge 1 is a charming detached lodge resting in Bolney, West Sussex. Hosting two double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off-road parking for two cars, and decking with furniture. Orchard Lodge is a well located dwelling for seeing all that Sussex has to offer. Note : No groups of workers or large commercial vehicles permitted. Please note - all bookings must end on Friday or start on Friday. One small, well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking
