Bolney 2.2 miles. Harvest Lodge is uniquely nestled in a lovely mature, nature filled, orchard near Bolney, West Sussex.
An ideal base for couples or friends, ample off road parking is accessed via electronic gates. Harvest Lodge has open plan lounge/dining area together with 2 double bedrooms. Step inside this picturesque, timber abode surrounded by nature to find a homely living space with a well equipped kitchen, sofa and 2 armchairs and TV.
Gather around the dining table for 4 or set up on the decking with outdoor seating to admire the delights of the orchard with a cold beverage. After the day’s adventures, unwind in the well-appointed shower room with a good contemporary walk in shower, before choosing between the two double bedrooms, both with space to keep your items organised.
Only a 15 minute drive takes you to Knepp Wetlands and Re Wilding Estate where you can visit the White Stork project. Or visit the fabulous Sheffield Park Gardens where you can enjoy a memorable ride on the Bluebell Railway. Nymans and Leonards Lee Gardens are also close by. All gardens offer magnificent light shows and winter walks during winter months. Hickstead Equestrian events are held nearby a mere 7 minute drive away.
Close by, you’ll find The Royal Oak pub serving food and drink, or take a short drive in the opposite direction to the centre of Bolney, to visit Bolney Stage or Eight Bells pubs for a delicious meal. Pizzas are served at the Cider Tap together with a choice of their 32 ciders. Wakehurst Place in Bolney is a Gothic Revival Mansion or visit the award winning Bolney Winery which offers guided tours and tastings.
If you want to keep active and enjoy long walks, the heart of the South Downs National Park, is also nearby, or pick the scenic trail that suits you and go for a bike ride to see the sights .
The seaside resort of Brighton is only a 12 mile drive away, where you can visit the amazing famous Royal Pavilion, as well as being spoiled for choice with bars, shops, pubs and restaurants and the Brighton Marina. Gatwick airport is 17 miles away.

The lodge has an open-plan living space with a kitchen equipped with gas oven and hob, microwave, and fridge/freezer, a dining table for four, and a sitting area with a TV. There are two double bedrooms, along with a shower room. Outside, there is a garden with decking and furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. Within 1.5 miles, there is a shop, and within 1 mile, a pub. One small, well-behaved dog is welcome on request. Note: if you bring a large dog or any other kind of pet you may be turned away. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. There are 3 steps up to the property. No stag, Hen or similar parties. An idyllic base for your holiday in Sussex, book a stay at Harvest Lodge. Please note - all bookings must end on Friday or before Friday in the week. Note: for the May half term the property will only accept a minimum of 7 nights. Note : No groups of workers or large commercial vehicles permitted.
