Enjoying a superb location nestled at the foot of Whalley Nab along the River Calder, Number 10 is a superb dwelling for couples or a family of four seeking an escape in style.
This Grade 2 listed 18th century cottage is set between the Forest of Bowland AONB and Pendle Hill, as well as being adjacent to a beautiful 14th-century church, and features a decadent interior furnished and decorated by an interior designer.
Step into the entrance and through the glass feature double doors into the sitting room, with inviting plush sofas, real flame gas fire, Smart TV and Bose speaker, it is the perfect haven to unwind in after a day of exploring.
Continue through to the sleek and light filled kitchen/diner, well-equipped with all you need to rustle up tasty dishes ready to enjoy at the dining table for six. On warmer days, why not savour your meals out in the rear courtyard as you soak up the sunshine or simply to enjoy a glass of wine.
The garden also features an outhouse housing your utilities and a WC for convenience.
As night falls, follow the stairs up to the first floor, where two luxuriously styled bedrooms await, a king-size and a double, each with access to their own well-appointed boutique shower room and wall mounted TV. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and a pub, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Central heating. What a beautiful property! We spent a week here and loved every minute. Whalley is such a delightful village! The cottage is exactly as pictured and described online. We go to the area twice a year and will certainly stay there each time if it is available!

Lovely clean property, well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. Situated a short walk from Whalley centre where there is an array of shops and resturants, do check out the Italian! also an easy drive to the Forest of Bowland and beyond. Parking on the road was easy enough although I imagine in summer could be trickier.
