Martina Franca is situated in the province of Taranto, within the Itria Valley (Valle d'Itria), a region known for its distinctive Trulli houses and charming towns. The property is a 25-minute drive from the historic town of Ceglie Messapica home to a medieval castle that offers incredible views of the surrounding countryside.

Other popular excursions in the area include; a trip to the historic hilltop top town of Ostuni (a 30-minute drive), often referred to as the "White City" due to its whitewashed buildings and the UNESCO World Heritage site of Alberobello renowned for its Trulli (an 18-minute drive away).

The surrounding countryside is characterised by rolling hills, olive groves, and vineyards. It's a lovely area for hiking, cycling and exploring the natural beauty of the Salento region and offers opportunities to visit local wineries such as ‘I Pastini Srl’ a 7-minute drive away.

The property is also within easy reach of Salento’s beautiful coastline, with its countless beaches including; Torre Canne, Rosa Marina, Torre Pozzella and Pilone all within a 40-minute drive.
