About this space

How can a place be so spacious AND cosy? Stay in our lovely 1BR Apt in the foothills of Belfast Castle and Cave Hill to find out! With a large living area complete with smart TV and comfy seating, a full kitchen to whip up delicious home made meals, a huge bedroom with sumptuous king bed to sleep off those beautiful hikes and a little outdoor seating area for your morning cuppa you may not want to leave the apartment at all! In case you do, the bus to the city centre takes just 12 mins :)


The space

Our apartment has its own private entrance and no steps either outside or inside. Outside you will find a little table and chairs perfect for having a small bite, a cup of coffee, a read of the newspaper, and catching some rays!

Inside the apartment you will find an open plan layout with a large living area leading into a great fully equipped kitchen. The bedroom itself is huge with a big king size bed and plenty of storage.

You will also have access to all your home comforts - washing machine, washer-dryer, WIFI, and Smart TV to name a few.


The area

Our apartment is located in a beautiful and relatively unexplored area of north Belfast. It is very popular among locals as Cave Hill (hiking trails), Belfast Castle, and the zoo are all in the immediate vicinity.

You will find yourself just minutes walk from the large Spar convenience store so you can stock up on pretty much anything you will need without having to travel too far.


Abbey Centre is a couple of minutes drive/bus and is a huge area with great shops and restaurants.

Cave Hill is very famous and offers the best views over Belfast and the lough if you fancy the hike to get to the top!

The bus into the city centre is very frequent and quick, taking just 15 minutes. In Belfast you can travel all day on the buses for just £3.50 which is a real bargain. You can also drive of course and this will take about 10 minutes. If you don't fancy venturing into Belfast but want some great food and Guinness, we recommend Ben Madigan's Bar and Kitchen in north Belfast. Its close by and serves amazing food and drink.

No parties please and no more than 2 guests.


Supermarkets

Madigans Court Spar is a 3 minute walk from the apartment and is open from 7am-11pm daily. Fresh bakery, hot food counter, butcher and off license


Local Restaurants

The newly renovated Lansdowne Hotel is a few minutes walk from the apartment which serves breakfast, lunch, evening meals and an all day Sunday menu. Ben Madigan's Bar and Kitchen has become a north Belfast staple and is a great place for some good pub grub and great Guinness.


Local Attractions

The Cavehill Country Park is a 10 minute walk from the apartment. Belfast Zoo is just a few minutes drive and Belfast Castle is just up the road. For shopping we recommend visiting the Abbey Centre which is a few minutes drive away.

Buses

Donegal Park Avenue bus stop is one minute walk. It has lots of buses going to the city centre - just cross the road and grab any number 1 bus (e.g. 1d, 1f etc)
