Visit our own website to stay informed about news, offers, traveler reviews, and experiences offered. Spacious and comfortable terraced house in the heart of Agaete, located between the pier and the town center.
The house features three large bedrooms, hammocks, shaded areas, an outdoor shower, fruit trees, and a large rooftop terrace with fantastic views of the Tamadaba Natural Park.
It also has a porch at the entrance, ideal for enjoying a good local coffee, and a huge interior patio.
The house is perfect for families looking to relax, go hiking, enjoy water sports, or explore the island. There is ample space in front of the house where you can easily park. Agaete is a fishing village, with its urban center located at an altitude of 43 meters above sea level.
The topography of Agaete is generally very rugged, with three main basins: El Risco, Guayedra, and Agaete, reaching a maximum altitude of 1,180 meters in the summit area of Pinar de Tamadaba. The Tamadaba Natural Park is a protected area and contains the largest pine forest in Gran Canaria.
Towards the sea, the massif descends through steep slopes, deep ravines, and rugged cliffs, creating a landscape of great beauty.
The impressive Roque Faneque stands out, with its 1,008 meters dropping vertically into the sea, considered one of the highest active cliffs in the world.
Higher up on the massif, above 1,000 meters, there is a flat area covered by a dense forest of Canary Island pines. The Agaete Valley, known for its unique beauty and its plantations of tropical fruits, oranges, and coffee, offers impressive views of the Tamadaba massif with its lush pine forests.
In addition to the great beauty of the Agaete Valley, you can enjoy the traditional constructions that provide rural tourism accommodation in the area, promoting hiking in the municipality. The Port of Las Nieves is the coastal area of the municipality.
Here you will find the Hermitage and its Triptych of Our Lady of the Snows, the latter attributed to the 16th-century Flemish painter Joos Van Cleve.
In the Port of Las Nieves, you can see the Roque Partido or Dedo de Dios (Finger of God), another symbol for the Canary Islanders.
The Roque Partido is a rock formation that, due to erosion, took the shape of a hand. Agaete is also home to some of the most popular natural pools and beaches in the northern part of the island.
The busiest is Playa de Las Nieves, with calm waters and a good seaside atmosphere, lined with restaurants offering the best local cuisine and a picturesque promenade. It is located 1 km from the restaurant "Dedo de Dios," 2 km from the rocky beach "Playa del Juncal," 500 m from the bus station "Agaete," 750 m from the rocky beach "Playa de Las Nieves," 400 m from the town "Agaete," 400 m from the supermarket "Spar," 1 km from the rocky beach "Las Salinas, natural pools," 1 km from the rocky beach "Playa de la Caleta," 2 km from the restaurant "Las Nasas," 6 km from the sandy beach "Playa de Sotavento," 7 km from the sandy beach "Playa de Guayedra," 9 km from the town "Gáldar," 14 km from the sandy beach "Playa de Sardina del Norte," 18 km from the natural park "Tamadaba," 25 km from the town "Moya," 31 km from the town "La Aldea de San Nicolás," 46 km from the golf course "Campo de Golf de Bandama," 55 km from the airport "Gran Canaria Airport," 84 km from the amusement park "Holidayworld Maspalomas Center," and 88 km from the water park "Aqualand Maspalomas." It is situated in an ideal area for families and for rural tourism. There is a gym and a sports area 200 m away, and 500 m away is the flower garden or botanical garden.
