The Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this charming house for rent in Porspoder, route du champ des menhirs ("Prat Ar Men"), fully renovated in 2019, in the authentic Breton area of Port de Mazou, less than 500 m from the beach. This 62 m² house can accommodate up to 4 travellers and opens onto a 1200 m² garden via a terrace. It comprises a lovely 30 m² living room, an open-plan fitted kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
The house faces south-south-west and comprises the following rooms:
Ground floor:
- A south-facing entrance veranda offering a bright workspace
- A comfortable 30 m² lounge overlooking the garden
- An open-plan kitchen with a bar table and dining area, equipped with an oven, 4 ceramic hobs, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and Nespresso machine.
- Bathroom with bath and washing machine.
- Separate WC.
First floor:
- Bedroom 1 with sea view: queen-size bed (160x200), wardrobe and chest of drawers.
- Bedroom 2 with sea view: two single bunk beds (ideal for children), double sofa bed and wardrobe.
- Separate WC with washbasin.
Please note: The staircase to the first floor is narrow.
Outside :
- A beautiful 500 m² garden partially enclosed by natural hedges. To the front of the house 200 m² with south-east exposure and to the rear of the house 300 m² with south-west exposure.
- A south-west-facing terrace of approx. 15 m² with table and garden furniture to enjoy the fine weather.
The house is ideally located in Porspoder, with no direct neighbours, in an area of generous greenery from which you can hear the sea. Nearby, you'll find all the essential shops, numerous restaurants, bars and a market.
Activities :
Come and discover the village of Porspoder, in the Pays d'Iroise, in the Marine National Park of the Mer d'Iroise, facing the archipelago of Molène and the Island of Ouessant (view from the house). From the house, there are many walks (GR34) to discover the wild coastline and many enchanting sites such as the chapel of Saint Ourzal and the Saint-Laurent peninsula. Along the way, you'll be surprised by the small traditional ports (Port Mazou, Melon, Mesdoun, Porsmeur) and white sandy beaches.
You'll also be able to take advantage of a host of water sports, including the Penfoul surf spot and the horse-riding trails of the Pays d'Iroise.
Departures to Molène and Ouessant are 10 minutes from the house in summer (from Lanildut).
- Cultural visits: extensive religious heritage, Saint-Budoc church, Sainte-Anne chapel, Larret chapel, exhibitions at Le Chenal and Salle Herry Léon.....
- Events: the Esti'vent festival in Porspoder, the sea festival in Argenton, numerous concerts at the Chenal and the Salle Herry Leon, the Vendredis branchés concerts in St Renan...
Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you will be able to park on the driveway leading to the house, a dead-end road where 3 vehicles can park.
As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful to you:
- Bus to Brest and St Renan stations from Porspoder
- Saint Renan bus station 18 minutes away and Brest train station 35 minutes away by car.
- Brest airport is 35 minutes away by car.

Fixed price for cleaning: €75
This package is not included in the price paid on the booking platform.
Cleaning is compulsory for all stays.
The cleaning charge must be paid directly to the owner, by bank transfer, at least 1 week before arrival.
Linen is not included in the rental price.
Optional package: €30/double bed, €15/single bed, to be booked and paid for with the owner.
Dogs accepted on request only, with prior agreement. Supplement: €60/stay/pet (maximum 2) to be paid directly to the owner. Please leave the garden clean.
Accommodation intended for strictly personal and private use.
Charging of an electric vehicle is only possible with the owner's agreement (supplement €15/day). No dedicated socket - unauthorised recharging is prohibited.
Cot on request (supplement €10/stay).
The house is insulated and equipped with VMC and top-of-the-range radiators for optimum comfort. To limit the energy impact, the radiators are set not to exceed 20°C.

Gezellig en van alle gemakken voorzien huis vlak bij zee.

Gezellig ingericht, van alle gemakken voorzien huisje,met kleine tuin waar je lekker kunt zitten. Op loop afstand van de zee en en het centrum van het dorpje is op enige minuten met de auto bereikbaar.
Ook de mooie kustlijn is maar op enige minuten met de auto bereikbaar, voor veel mooi wandelplezier in de prachtige, rotsachtige kust.
