Detached wooden house, access via a step at the front door.
Fitted kitchen opening onto the living room, dining area, sofa, TV, desk, wood-burning stove, bedroom with double bed (1x160), separated from the living room by a glass roof, shower room (shower cubicle, washbasin, washing machine), separate toilet.
Private terrace with garden furniture and second terrace in the shade of an ash tree.
The gîte is adjoined to the owners' coach house and is opposite their house (slight overlooking possible).
You are in the Vercors Regional Nature Park.
There are many walks, cycle rides and horse rides in the Royans, and more generally in the Vercors and the Drôme.
Saint Jean en Royans is a 5-minute drive from the gîte.
Saint Nazaire en Royans is 15 minutes away (excursion on a paddle boat, garden with petrifying fountains, etc.).
There are also many caves to visit (Choranche, Thaïs, La Luire, etc.).
Vassieux en Vercors, famous for having been a centre of resistance during the 2nd World War, is 40 minutes away (memorial and museum of the Resistance in Vercors).
In winter, for Nordic activities, the Grand Echaillon ski resort is 25 minutes away and Font d'Urle 30 minutes.
