Huddled in the heart of rural Somerset at the foot of the Mendips, the city is a merge of two attractive worlds, one of Gothic architecture, narrow streets, pavement cafes and independent shops, and the other of countryside quiet and nature-infused pursuits. There are also many lovely walks in the area for both humans and canines to explore including a public bridle way that lies directly behind the field.
