'Rural, tiny and quiet, that's Brockhausen... - And right in the centre: the Meyerhof! When you arrive, you will immediately be greeted by our camel sheep. The pasture is right next to our car park. To unload your luggage, you are welcome to drive right up to the front of our house. Once you have parked your car in the car park and walked past the sheep pasture, you will notice that our pony (Smarty) and our donkey (Romeo) are also in the pasture. Romeo is very cuddly and loves to be stroked and Smarty spends his old age here and loves to be groomed.
Our pussycat with her 3 offspring Fleckchen, Flöckchen and Flauschi are also happy to be stroked.
On the opposite side of the car park, you will discover our quiet garden with a pretty pond and a pavilion. This garden is designed for parents who want to read their book, chat, drink coffee and relax in peace and quiet. Children should only enter this garden when accompanied by their parents because of the pond. Once you have recovered from your arrival, come out of the small garden and into the courtyard. Bobycars, pedal tractors, small and large Kettcars, jumping rope, street chalk. The courtyard offers children plenty of space to run around. The children can ride their bikes right up to the car park by the road - don't worry parents, there is very, very little traffic on the road. And if your children prefer to play in the sand, our play garden is immediately adjacent to the courtyard. In the playground, children will find swings, a slide, trampoline, play tower and a huge sandpit. A little away from the play equipment is a fire pit where you can bake stick bread with your children, or you can ask for the barbecue and enjoy a cosy evening or day with bratwurst and steaks. If you want to stretch your legs but don't want to leave the farm, then walk across the playground behind the house, straight ahead and sit down under our ancient oak tree or continue into our former box tree garden. On 1800 square metres there is a former show and sales garden, through which you can stroll whenever you feel like it.
Another highlight is our private hedge maze. Which may be partly used by the guests. This garden was created by ourselves in 2008. The private garden is approx. 2000 square metres in size and contains five small gardens, which are currently still being worked on and may be used as relaxation oases. Since there are also poisonous plants here, this garden is not a playground!
Your four-legged companion is also very welcome here. It's not far to go for a walk, from the farm you are just a few steps away from the field and can go for a wonderful walk with your dog without being disturbed by cars.
Our 8 holiday flats are fully equipped and lovingly furnished. Since summer 2017, 6 of the holiday flats have been completely renovated. With us you will find something for two people as a couple, or as a family with 4 people, or you have a large family with 6 people, or you are on holiday with your best friends or dearest relatives Or you as an assembly company are looking for accommodation and want to save the expensive service of a hotel, then your employees will find a nice place to stay here with plenty of space.

Journey description
From the A1 exit Bramsche the B217 and in the further course the B65 direction Bad Essen, past Bad Essen on the B65, about 1Km after the village Wittlage turn left, 1Km to Brockhausen.

From the A30 motorway, take exit no. 27 Bünde/Pr.Oldendorf to Bad Holzhausen, then take the B65 towards Bad Essen/Osnabrück. 1 km after the village Rabber turn right, 1 km to Brockhausen.

Description of the unit
The holiday flat has two bedrooms, a living-dining area, a spacious bathroom with shower, toilet and window.

The large romantic bedroom has been furnished with a four-poster bed, 180 x 200. The size of this room also allows for a cosy lounge corner where you can read a book or watch TV in the late evening. The view from the window shows a small garden with an old copper beech tree.
The second bedroom is furnished with two single beds 90 x 200. The view from the window faces north, directly onto our courtyard. A small seating area offers you the opportunity to retreat here.

The dining and living area is furnished with cosy seating as well as a table and chairs so that you can use it to eat together, watch TV or play games. The view from the window is of the playground and the labyrinth to the west. There are also oak trees here, which provide shade, especially in summer.
