Casa de Telégrafos is a genuine historic home, around 150 years old, carefully restored and located in the heart of Vallehermoso, La Gomera.
Its 120 m² are spread over two floors, blending Canarian heritage charm with all the comforts needed for a pleasant stay. The house features 3 spacious bedrooms (two with twin beds, one with a double bed), plus a living room with two sofa beds, accommodating up to 8 guests.
There are 2 full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, oven, coffee maker, toaster, kettle, complete utensils), private washing machine, Wi-Fi, TV, bed linen and towels included.
The property does not have air conditioning or central heating. The highlight is the rooftop terrace, offering views of the valley, mountains, and village surroundings.
Access is via a narrow, steep staircase, typical of the house’s historic character; please use the handrail and take extra care, especially when descending. Located on a quiet pedestrian street in central Vallehermoso, just minutes on foot from supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and the bus stop.
Hiking trails start nearby, and there is a public pool by the sea less than 15 minutes away.
Car access is possible for unloading luggage. No pets, smoking, or events allowed.

De locatie was prima, rustig en toch middenin het dorp en al van te voren was er goed contact. De ontvangst ter plekke was ook zeer hartelijk. Het is een ruim en sfeervol huis met een mooi dakterras. Een aanrader.
Authentiek en groot huis met 3 grote slaapkamers.

Aardige host. Het huis is authentiek ingericht, 3 grote slaapkamers, 2 badkamers en een goed uitgeruste keuken. Verder ligt het midden in een dorp met meerdere supermarkten en barretjes en hotels, dus voorzieningen voorhanden. Ben niet bang van de kerktoren, die zwijgt tussen 23 en 8 uur.
Het trapje naar het dakterras is wat eng en vooral wanneer je naar beneden gaat is het goed opletten waar je je voeten zet.
Prachtige locatie waarbij het dakterras met uitzicht op het kerkje.

Na een goede nachtrust in het appartement met drie ruime slaapkamers gezellig samen ontbijten op het dakterras met uitzicht op de vallei.
Niks. We hebben genoten.
Uitslapers kunnen beter 's ochtends vroeg het raam dicht doen in geval de vuilnisman door het straatje rijdt of vanwege de klok. Maar wij zitten dan al lekker aan de koffie samen met de dorpelingen op het dorpsplein.
