At the mouth of “the most beautiful river in France,” the bay and its large beach await you. You can enjoy an active vacation or the gentle lifestyle of a seaside resort on the Breton Riviera, which has been awarded the coveted “tourist resort” classification. 17 km from Quimper, City of Art and History, the capital of King Gradlon, with its narrow streets and half-timbered houses protected by 1,500 m of ramparts.
The neighboring towns, within a 25 km radius, evoke a rich economic and cultural history: Locronan, unchanged since the heyday of the Breton textile industry; Concarneau and its 15th-century walled town, reinforced by Vauban; Pont-Aven, the city of painters where Gauguin stayed; Le Guilvinec, France's leading artisanal fishing port. Offshore lies the Glénans archipelago, famous for its turquoise lagoon. At the very end of the land (“Pen ar bed” in Breton) is the Pointe du Raz, battered by westerly winds and large swells from the open sea. Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park directly in the residence's private car park. For other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful: - Nearest train station: Quimper station, 10.6 miles away (23 minutes by car). - Nearest airport: Quimper Bretagne airport, approximately 20 minutes away by car. - Bus: bus stop for Quimper. Please leave it in a clean condition and clean the appliances after use. - Swimming pool: Children must be supervised by a parent when swimming.
