We are a family with two children and two dogs, both work in the health sector and are happy to rent our holiday apartment to nice holiday guests :o). The holiday flat is on the ground floor of our house, has its own terrace (for barbecues etc.) and the garden has over 1600 square metres of space and a view of a field. The flat can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults and a child (in an extra bed) or 2 adults with 2 children (2 travel cots available).

Elmenhorst-Lichtenhagen is located in the north-west of Rostock and lies between the seaside resort of Warnemünde and Bad Doberan 2km from the beach (5min by bike). There are supermarkets, hairdressers, a large drinks market, bakeries, doctors, a bicycle shop and car repair shops in the immediate vicinity of the apartment. The nearest bus stop is only 300 metres away, the Warnemünde golf course 400 metres.
Warnemünde with its wide sandy beach and many cultural events (e.g. Hansesail in the second weekend of August) is 3 km to the north-east and can be easily reached by bike in 15 minutes. From Warnemünde, you can easily travel to the centre of Rostock in 15 minutes by S-Bahn (including bicycle transport).
There is also no shortage of leisure activities. You can go on extensive cycle tours along the Baltic Sea to Heiligendamm, the white town by the sea, or in the other direction to Warnemünde and then take the ferry to Hohe Düne, for example. You can take a harbour cruise on a passenger ship from Warnemünde or take a fishing boat out on the Baltic Sea. The steep coast near Elmenhorst and Nienhagen is also a popular spot for sea trout and surf anglers.
So there are almost endless possibilities to spend a relaxing Baltic Sea holiday and really "come down".
