At the park, you can enjoy a recreational lake with a beach, a cozy brasserie, bicycle rental, a marina, and plenty of activities for children. The surrounding area is worth exploring: cycle along dikes and orchards, visit the fortified town of Buren, try your hand at water sports on the Nederrijn, or take a day trip to Ouwehands Zoo, just 13 km away. If you cross the river, the Utrechtse Heuvelrug National Park is right on your doorstep.
