Nestled at the foot of the South Downs National Park in High Salvington, West Sussex is Karibu, a charming studio-style annex.

Perfect for a romantic retreat, this delightful dwelling offers a lovely garden and on road parking while being within easy reach of local amenities, Worthing town, and the lively city of Brighton.

As you step into the property, you will find a kitchen area, fit with all the necessities for your self catering requirements such as an electric hob and a fridge, along with an all-important kettle for your morning cup of tea. From here, snuggle up with your other half on the sofa and watch the TV after a long day of discovering the local area.

As the evening draws to a close, head off to the plush double bed for some well-deserved rest ahead of another adventurous day out. The light and airy décor brings lots of natural light into the space and is finished nicely with stylish neutral furniture.

Guests will also benefit from a bathroom with a bath, shower over, basin and WC, where you can choose to freshen up between activities or soak in a bubble bath while indulging in a good book.

Outside, there is a charming courtyard, delicately decorated with pots of greenery and dining seating where you can savour a glass of wine with your loved one in the last of summer sun. Treat yourself you to a meal out while during your stay at one of the local eateries such as Anaz Indian Restaurant or for classic pub grub, venture into the nearby Findon to the Black Horse Inn. Plenty more pubs, restaurants and cafés can be found in the town of Worthing, where you can also pick up traditional fish and chips to enjoy at Worthing Pier.

Venture out to Brighton for the day; this lively city is home to an abundance of attractions to keep you busy throughout your stay.

Upside Down House is a fascinating museum of optical illusions based on the colourful seafront of Brighton.

Spend a day discovering the South Downs National Park; Cissbury Ring is a reasonable walk from the doorstep of the property and is known for being the most historic hill on the South Downs.

Get a taste for the countryside by visiting Coombes farm, a working farm open to the public for lambing season, tractor rides and fishing in their lake known as, Passies Pond.

There are also plenty of beaches in the area, explore the coast or set up camp for the day and soak up some rays before heading back to cosy up in your home away from home.

Karibu is a delightful annex resting in High Salvington, West Sussex. Hosting one double bedroom along with a bathroom, this property can sleep up to two guests. A comfy, compact annexe in a great location for exploring the South Downs and the Sussex Coast. Owners were very friendly but unintrusive. We'd recommend the Refreshment Rooms around the corner for coffee and cake or an evening drink, and it also has a little shop.

Lovely stay , perfect location for my needs . Clean ,tidy and comfortable, the added extras are a nice touch and very welcoming after a long journey . The owners are very friendly and helpful . All in all perfect little resting place .
