Little Owl Barn, with a name like this you'd expect something that is cute and eye-catching.
Thankfully it is both, in spades, perfect for Cotswolds holiday in a truly top-notch location.
Tucked down a lane, behind a delightful cottage garden, this sweet, homely holiday cottage is a true gem, carved from a once enormous barn into a collection of quality homes. Pleasingly, one of them is now a holiday home for us all to enjoy and it has very recently undergone a "makeover" which has transformed the cottage and light floods into the barn rooms making sure that even though it is exceptionally cosy, it is not dark or unwelcoming - quite the opposite.
The views are superb, and this coupled with the sound of nothing but birdsong and the occasional tractor ensures this is a true Cotswolds experience.
Kids, of course, can run free in the enclosed garden while you enjoy a seat and relax if you wish you could all stroll down to Burford in about 10 mins for a treat in Huffkins Cafe (maybe a famous Lardy Cake....?!) Inside, the house has been furnished with style which adds to its attractive appeal upstairs are two bedroooms both of which are simple yet smart.
We absolutely love this barn, as will you, - there is nothing not to like!

Little Owl Barn is a barn conversion located in Burford, Oxfordshire. Tucked down a lane, behind a delightful cottage garden is this holiday home, once carved from an enormous barn into a collection of quality cottages. The property has undergone a refurbishment which has transformed the cottage into a light and spacious rooms with a welcoming feel. Internally, there is an open-plan living room, fitted kitchen and dining area with a wood burning stove. Upstairs has one double bedroom and one king-size bedroom with a separate bathroom and WC. There is an enclosed garden and patio area where you can relax at the table and chairs, and kids are free to play on the lawn. Parking is available for one car. Little Owl Barn is the ideal vacation spot for parents and their little ones.

Please note an initial supply of logs & kindling is provided for the property between October until end of March; additional log supplies can be purchased locally.

Beautiful little cottage, lovely garden overlooking fields. Only criticisms, sitting room could do with extra lighting, hated the induction cooker, bedroom windows filthy....only very minor complaints. Tastefully decorated, comfortable bed, nice walk into Burford, great bath and water pressure, beautiful area. A joy to stay in, would definitely book again and would 100 percent recommend.

Fabulous stay over the Christmas week. Warm, cosy cottage with everything that you need along with peace and quiet and parking. A great enclosed garden for our little dog Ellie. Perfect for a short walk into Burford and it shops and pubs. Thoroughly recommend, so much so we’re coming back at the same time next year.
