Located on a street of colourful properties, close to the centre of Falmouth, and boasting fabulous views of the harbour is this recently refurbished, contemporary townhouse, Through The Porthole. This three-bedroom property offers spacious and well thought-out accommodation for a family or small group of up to five guests looking to explore Falmouth and the South Cornwall coastline. Named Through The Porthole, it reflects the luxury standard you'd expect on a five star cruise with spectacular views to match.
Enter the property into a spacious hallway, with a handy coat rack to hang your coats and motion sensor lighting, head to the open-plan living area, with a newly-fitted kitchen, housing a range of integrated amenities, including a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer and washer/dryer. Prepare delicious home-cooked meals, which can be enjoyed by the whole group at the lovely oak dining table, before retiring to the sitting room to relax on one of the sofas, admiring the incredible harbour views on offer, or enjoying watching the Smart TV. The master double bedroom boasts more harbour views, which you can enjoy each morning from the comfort of your bed; along with integrated hanging space and an en-suite shower room with a walk-in shower, all thoughtfully provided by the owners. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, a 4' double offering a comfortable sleeping arrangement for one guest, and a further double bedroom with wonderful harbour views, both with ample storage space, fantastic original fireplaces and custom made black out curtains. The recently fitted family bathroom completes the layout, with a shower over bath and big frosted glass window, allowing in plenty of natural light. Access the rear garden through the French door in the sitting room, and enjoy the built in bench, lawn with further outdoor furniture and make the most of your incredible harbour views. Falmouth centre is a short walk away, with an impressive array of shops, pubs, cafés, restaurants and bars, along with popular tourist attractions such as Pendennis Castle, built by Henry VIII, and the National Maritime Museum Cornwall; while the closest beaches of Castle, Gyllyngvase and Swanpool are about a mile from the property. Hop on a ferry at the terminal and head over to St Mawes on the Roseland Heritage Coast, surrounded by lush green countryside, rocky coves and stunning sandy beaches, as well as being home to an impressive 16th century castle. Visit Swanpool and its nature reserve, a site of Special Scientific Interest with an incredible lagoon, and join the South West Coast Path, heading south towards the Lizard Heritage Coast to visit Trebah Gardens, Lizard Point and Kynance Cove, with a choice of sandy beaches to stop off at and spend an afternoon in the sunshine. Through The Porthole is a brilliant base from which to explore the South Cornwall coast.

Through The Porthole is a newly refurbished townhouse in Falmouth, Cornwall. The property has three bedrooms, a ground floor double with double bed and en-suite shower room, a double and a 4' double, sleeping five guests. There is also a family bathroom with shower over bath and an open-plan living/kitchen/dining room. Outside is a patio and lawned garden with built-in bench, furniture and views of the harbour. Through The Porthole is a fabulous base for a Falmouth holiday.
Note: Although the ground floor bedroom is accessible for those with mobility issues, the living area and kitchen are down narrow steep stairs leading into the open plan kitchen and living area opening out unto the garden balcony. Also, Falmouth is surrounded by hills and the walk from the property to the town centre is downhill.
