We were actually upgraded to Granary Barn next door, as someone was staying long term in Bowes Barn, but the outlook & presumably the layout was similar. The setting was perfect for us, with lots of great walks from the doorstep. The cottage was warm and felt welcoming during our wet week in January...

We had a very enjoyable stay, away from traffic noise etc. we were greeted with half a dozen eggs from the resident egg layers, the home made cake was delicious, the beds super comfy. We had the impression that they wanted to do their best for us. Would we go again? In a shot.
