The cottage has an excellent kitchen, fully-equipped with all you could need for rustling up some delicious meals.
The ground floor also benefits from a family shower room, with deluxe fixtures and fittings.
Follow the steps up to the first floor and discover a king-size and double bedroom, both of which have been individually styled with a light decor and ample furniture for storing purposes.
Locally there is a store to get all the essentials you might need and every Saturday the local farmers market is held in Stroud, brimming with local artisan produce! Take the short drive into Stroud town centre and discover a wealth of tourist attractions, including Stratford Park, perfect for a morning stroll with lakeside views.

October Cottage is a lovely cottage nestled in Chalford, in the Cotswolds AONB. Hosting two bedrooms: one king-size and one double, sleeping a total of four guests, served by a family shower room. There is a fitted kitchen and an open-plan living room and dining area with a woodburning stove. Outside has a lawned garden and decking area with furniture, as well as off-road parking for two cars available. October Cottage is a wonderful choice for a rural break to the heart of the Cotswolds AONB. Pets are charged at £25 per pet per stay. The Owner will except 2 small or 1 large dog.
Note. There are low beams on the 2nd floor of this property.
Whilst the cottage has 2 double bedrooms, due to the restricted space in the 2nd bedroom it is better suited to groups of 3 guests.

No DVD player as claimed, which for film buffs could be a disappointment. Other than that, no complaints. The cottage was utterly charming, and the wooded garden was extensive and very pleasant with great seating areas. Couldn't fault the location. Very beautiful. And lots to do in the nearby town of Stroud, which also has some great shops and two independent book shops!

A well presented and equipped cottage in a glorious setting. We enjoyed our stay. Older people needing to get up in the night need to be aware that the bathroom is downstairs at the end of the kitchen.
