This lovely semi-detached cottage adjoins the owner's home and is set on a working farm, situated high above the village of Trawsfynydd in the Snowdonia National Park.
The property dates back to the 1600s, but has undergone a superb transformation to provide quality accommodation for a small family or couple.
As you approach the property, you’ll know you’ve made the right choice as you see glorious countryside views in the distance.
The open-plan living area is comprised of a well-equipped kitchen area, where you can prepare those hearty feasts with ease, a dining area where you can enjoy what you have prepared, before retiring to the sofa with the Smart TV providing vast entertainment choices.
Just off the side is a utility room with washer/dryer, useful if your walks or biking trails take you off on a muddier route.
Upstairs comprises of two well-presented bedrooms, including a double and single room, both of which are furnished with oak furniture and soft cotton sheets.
Outside to the rear is a small lawned area, while to the front there is seating area where you can enjoy an early morning cuppa whilst taking in the picturesque view.
From the cottage a myriad of walks and outdoor pursuits are available; wonder along the lake side of the spectacular Trawsfynydd Lake, or go a little further and do the eight-mile circular walk and cycle path.
The lake offers boating and fishing opportunities and there is even a lakeside café.
The cottage is also ideally situated for the renowned Coed-y-Brenin Forest with its famous mountain biking trails.
Enjoy beautiful hill and mountain scenery, fishing in Traws Lake and the beautiful beaches at Porthmadog, Harlech and Barmouth. To explore more of what Wales has to offer, head to the coastline and indulge in the sandy beaches, visit the beautiful Portmeirion Italianate Village, or for something a little more exhilarating, then the nearby Blaenau Ffestiniog is home to Zip World Titan, the Zip Caverns and Bounce Below.
This well-appointed cottage is an ideal base for enjoying all the delights that the surrounding area has to offer.
