The kitchen/diner is also located on the ground floor and has all the amenities you’ll need to ensure meal times go smoothly.

Also located on the ground floor is the property’s shower room.

Guests will find both a double and twin bedroom.

The garden to the rear of the property offers a great chance to catch some sun, and the table and chairs offer an alternative to the kitchen/diner for enjoying a meal.

There is also a lovely summerhouse located in the garden, complete with a very comfortable sofa, it’s a great spot to unwind with a book and cold drink.

A well behaved dog is also welcome.

As mentioned previously, the property is adjacent to a garden centre, which is run by the owners of the cottage.

Within here are many beautiful plants and flowers, and guests are welcome to wander round and take a closer look.

There’s also a café, where guests can enjoy 10% off their food and drinks, and a croquet and putting green.

Located to the rear of the cottage/garden centre is the River Esk, a very popular spot for dog walkers.

Away from the cottage is the beautiful seaside town of Whitby.

Whitby offers a lot for visitors to enjoy, with its stunning views of the North Sea and also a beautiful harbour and the Captain Cook Memorial Museum – which is located in the house where the famous explorer once lived! Guests are also advised that there’s a fine selection of pubs, restaurants and shops worth checking out.
