Situated along a private road, Newbiggin Cottage isideally suited to families or couples seeking a refreshing break in the country, with walking, cycling and fishing opportunities nearby.
The rear entrance of the property, accessed through a charming arched trellis, climbed by an elegant rose bush, takes you to the utility/boot room which houses a fridge/freezer and a washing machine.
Three steps up take you to the ultra-modern kitchen showcasing a fabulous selection of Neff and Bosch units, with sleek granite worktops and neutral colour schemes.
Next is the dining room which is beautifully done, uplifted by a delightful open fire, with a starter pack of kindling provided.
The ground floor bathroom features slick clean lines and contemporary colourways; the handmade Roman blinds add a thoughtful touch.
Connecting these rooms is luxury Karndean flooring adding to the chic, quality finish throughout; the sitting room offers plush carpet cushioning your toes along with a woodburning stove to keep you warm through the winter season.

Newbiggin Cottage is a wonderfully presented chocolate-box cottage situated near the Blanchland village of Northumberland enveloped by stunning countryside. Boasting three bedrooms; a single, a king-size double and a king-size double with zip/link beds, it can sleep five people. Inside also comprises a ground floor bathroom, a kitchen, utility, dining room with open fire and sitting room with woodburning stove. Outside is off-road parking for two cars and a wild garden across the road with seating. Newbiggin Cottage is a delightful retreat in a beautiful area of Northumberland.

Thank you for a wonderful and memorable trip. Newbiggin Cottage is a gem in a beautiful setting.
The only feedback I can think of (and this is nitpicking) is that perhaps salt and pepper could be provided (empty grinders in cupboard) along with an additional tea towel and extra bin bags for the kitchen bins.

We had a fabulous week at Newbiggin cottage, the cottage was really lovely, warm and cozy, with spectacular views. Beautiful walks from the door step, Blanchland village is so pretty and friendly. The Lord Crew arms and the White Monk tea rooms serve delicious food.

Delightful cottage in a lovely location. Was the perfect place to take time out of our busy lives and recharge our batteries. Thank you very much for allowing us to bring our third Sheltie, who was a new addition after we had booked. Obviously all very well behaved, clean dogs.
Hope to be back one day to catch up with the rebellious sheep! :-)
