We had an amazing honeymoon at the lodge. It exceeded our expectations in every way. The surroundings were beautiful, it feels remote but is just minutes from supermarkets. We loved watching the wildlife. The hosts were very helpful. I definately recommend a stay here!

Wonderful property in a fantastic location. The hosts were great, cabin had all the facilities you could wish for really. Great place to unwind and relax, we will certainly be visiting again!
My only recommendation for improvement would be the addition of EV charging facilities, there are plenty to chose from down in town though so not a show stopper.

Moorhen Lodge was stunning inside as well as outside. There was nothing we could think of that could improve the Log Cabin. Helen, the owner, made us feel so welcome, so much so, that we will be returning in September for 2 weeks!
